Research Interest

His research interests are  Computer Science and Informatics, with a specific focus on Computational Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Ethics, Data Engineering. He also demonstrates a strong involvement in projects related to technology alignment in industry and government.

Teaching Interest

Prof Ford teaches Doctorate  courses such as IT Governance and Software Metrics. For Master courses  such as IT Risk, Advanced, IS Risk Management,  Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Marketing Communication. For Undergraduate courses such as Software

On Mid 2020, Dr Ford together with Prof. Takayuki Ito in Kyoto University, Japan and Prof Tokuro Matsuo in AIIT Tokyo Japan, win the grant from The Japanese National Research and Development Agencies with the title Hyper Democracy: Development of Conscious Formation Platform of Social Multi-Agent System (HDMAS) with the amount 297,000,000 JPY (40,260,200,000.00 IDR).
