Nur Afny Catur Andryani is an Associate Professor in Medical Informatics at BINUS University and a former Visiting Scholar at KU Leuven, Belgium. Her research focuses on medical informatics, with an emphasis on advancing AI in healthcare and imaging science for diagnostic innovation. She leads several multidisciplinary research collaborations in medical informatics domain. She is also actively engaged in initiatives advocating for the development and adoption of Responsible AI.
She previously served as Chair of IEEE Women in Engineering Indonesia (2024–2025), where she advanced advocacy for women’s empowerment and leadership in engineering and technology through diverse programs, partnerships, and collaborative initiatives.
Research Focus: Medical Informatics, Medical Image and signal processing, imaging science, Advanced Machine Learning, Ethical AI.
